Critical Reaction Paper

The critical reaction paper is a five paragraph (roughly two to three page) investigation and analysis of one of the persusavie speeches you have listened to in class. Because rhetorical criticism involves the judicious application of standards of judgement to a public speech, the most important criterion is appropriateness. Hence while all of the following criteria may be important to rhetorical criticism of a speech, they may not be equally applicable. Also, you should focus on the content of the speech rather than its delivery. In terms of expectation for the assignment, think of delivery as the least interesting component of the speaking process.
